if a customer has worn shoes outside, they are not eligible for exchange if it is due to comfort or fit. If the shoes are being exchanged due to a manufacturing fault then it doesnt matter if they have been worn outside as long as they are still within the warranty window. 

In order for items to be exchanged, they must be in the same condition as when they were delivered (unless faulty). 

This is regardless of the customer being within the exchange window or not.
