how to measure my feet / what shoe size am i?Updated 20 hours ago

To measure your feet, place a piece of paper on the floor, stand on it with even weight, and trace your foot. Measure the length from your heel to the tip of your longest toe and the width at the widest part of your foot, repeating the process for both feet to ensure accuracy

What you'll need
  • A piece of paper large enough for your foot
  • A pen or pencil
  • A ruler or measuring tape
  • Socks you would normally wear with the shoes

Step 1: Prepare and stand
  • Place the paper on a hard, flat surface, ensuring it's against a wall.

  • Stand on the paper with the paper against the wall, so your heel is touching the wall.

  • Wear the socks you intend to wear with the shoes.

  • Ensure your weight is evenly distributed on both feet.

Step 2: Trace and measure your foot

  • With one foot on the paper, have a friend help you trace the outline of your foot.

  • Be sure to keep the pen or pencil vertical to the paper for an accurate outline.

  • Measure the length from the back of your heel to the tip of your longest toe on the outline. This may not be your big toe.

  • Measure the width across the widest part of your foot, which is usually the ball of the foot.

  • Repeat this process for your other foot, as it's normal for one to be slightly larger.

Step 3: Use your measurements
  • Record the length and width measurements for both feet.

  • When comparing to a size chart, always use the measurements from the larger foot.

  • If your measurements fall between sizes, it's generally best to choose the larger size.
